A Big Heartfelt Thank you to Mr. Tobi Bruhn, CEO of Foundations Community Partnership for delivering a $7,500. Grant, for supplies for our Peace Valley Café Special Needs Apprenticeship Program! Foundations Community Partnership has supported Peace Valley Holistic Center, since 2010, & helps make it possible for PVHC to grow & to continue to be a resource in our Community.

Peace Valley Café

We are thankful to have celebrated our very 1st semester with our Awesome Apprentices, Dedicated Teacher, & Dedicated Job Coaches from the BCIU & Neshaminy High School!! Thank you to Everyone who made this 1st semester & Program a Big Success! We have begun our 2nd semester, & will be annoucing the date of our Grand Opening to the public soon!

The goal of Peace Valley Café (PVC) is to offer Special Needs Youths/Young Adults a novel transition opportunity to learn new life skills, such as interpersonal communications, coping skills, social skills, and business skills, while fostering self-confidence with compassion. PVC will create a support network & peer to peer encouragement through social media, offering a platform for “alumni” to continue to connect & support each other after their program participation. Along with this legacy network, at-risk youths who successfully participate in the Café Mentor/Work-based Learning Apprenticeship Program will be assisted with interviewing skills and job placement after their Program is completed.

The PVC apprenticeship program is PVHC’s Nonprofit Transition Vocational- Employment Program, & there is no cost to the Apprentices, Parents, Schools, Townships, nor the County. Instead, PVC actually saves the schools, parents, students, residents, and government $33,000. per Apprenticeship. We are privileged to be the 1st Nonprofit to open an Apprenticeship Café Program to ALL Special Needs Youths/Young adults in Bucks County, because we believe that this kind of transition- vocational- training program should be available to everyone.

If you would like to help Sponsor our Café Apprenticeship Program, or be a PVC Volunteer Community Ambassador, please email our Executive Director. Thanks A Latte for all of your support!

We have added a new video to our Media Center about the history of Peace Valley Holistic Center and the success of Light and Sound Therapies.

Those of you who grew up watching Action News might remember our historic Sound Therapy feature on Don Polec’s World!

We would like to send out a big “Thank You” to Christopher Smith for the production of this wonderful new video.
