Autism Speaks
Autism Speaks was founded in February 2005 by Bob and Suzanne Wright, grandparents of a child with autism. Since then, Autism Speaks has grown into the nation’s largest autism science and advocacy organization, dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families. We are proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish and look forward to continued successes in the years ahead.

PVHC would like to share this letter from the Arizona Office of the ADA! We’re always AMAZED how far the internet extends outreach!
Hello,
My name is Tom Lanny and I’m writing to you on behalf of the Arizona Office for Americans with Disabilities. I wanted to write a quick thank you to let you know that I’ve been referring to your page – http://www.peacevalleyholisticcenter.org/pages/links.html – I’m putting together some developmental and cognitive disability reference guides; there are some wonderful resources listed on your site that have helped a bunch!
I also wanted to pass along a page that one of our youth volunteers brought to my attention. It seems like it might be a good addition to your page: http://www.doctordisability.com/autism-disability.php
I’m sure my volunteer would be pleased to know she’s helping others outside of our community, if you don’t mind adding it. Shoot me an email if you get a chance to update and include her suggestion; It would be much appreciated!
Keep up the good work... you’re helping more people than you realize!
Wishing you a fantastic holiday season!
— Tom
